From recovery to renewed purpose: My Honor Flight story

My journey with Honor Flight began with four years of singing for them, a truly fulfilling experience. Then, a traumatic brain injury forced a 2-year hiatus. It was a tough road, but I'm back, writing new songs, and performing for these incredible veterans once again. This experience has shown me that I am one, but not done, and my passion for music and service remains stronger than ever.

Beyond Honor Flight: Career achievements and milestones

While my work with Honor Flight is deeply meaningful, my musical career has been filled with other proud moments. My single, "Smooth Running Engine," was played across the country, hitting #66 on Billboard Magazine.  I shared the stage with major artists such as ; Clint Black, John Michael Montgomery, Clay Walker, Loretta Lynn, Terry Clark, Travis Tritt, Freddy Fender, & Willie Nelson at DTE (Pine Knob) in Detroit , Meadowbrook music Theater, Common Ground, & Michigan Festival, for crowds of over 18,000 people. I had national television appearances on;  TNN's Crook & Chase show, USA Networks Nashville Star, and TNN's "Be a Star, and I starred in the Lifetime movie called the "18 Month Window". I was nominated for Best New Country Artist at the Nashville Independent Awards. I have been nominated for a Dove award in Nashville with the contemporary Christian band I wrote music for called "Faith 4" . These experiences reinforce my dedication as a singer, songwriter, entrepreneur and now Honor Flight Member.
